Who can request a 3D print?
Staff and students of South Park High School may request a 3D print. All requests MUST be sponsored by a teacher, club sponsor, or coach. See Mrs. Finberg for all other requests.
How do I pick up my completed item?
You will receive an email when your completed item is ready and available to pick up in the Library Media Center. You must pick up the item within 10 school days.
How much can I print?
There is a 5 hour time limit per student per week.
When will my item be ready?
Items are printed in the order the requests are received. Your item may take up to 1 week to be ready.
Print Agreement
You may not print material that is:
A violation of school or district policy.
Prohibited by local, state, or federal law.
Unsafe, harmful, or dangerous.
Not appropriate for the school environment.
Subject to copyright, patent, or trademark protection.
The LMC reserves the right to refuse any 3D print request.
The LMC cannot guarantee model quality or stability.
Responsibility for removing brims and supports is up to the user.
Items not picked up within 10 school days after being printed may result in future print requests being denied or require a follow-up confirmation.
Copyright and intellectual property restrictions:
The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) addresses the making of reproductions of copyrighted material.
Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries are authorized to provide a reproduction. This may not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." Failure to adhere to fair use may result in copyright infringement.
By filling out a 3D Print Request Form, the requester acknowledges:
