Draw what you hear. What machine do you think of?
Play along. Keep the beat on your lap, or on a pot/pan from your kitchen.
How many different instruments do you hear and see? List or draw them.
Make some music at home! Take a pair of shoes. Use them to create a song. How many different sounds can you include?
Play the freeze dance game! Put on some music and move/dance. Stop the music and everyone has to freeze until the music starts again. Take turns being the one starting and stopping the music.

April 20-April 24 **Celebrate Earth Day on Wednesday**
Celebrate Earth Day! Go outside and listen to nature's music. Notice the sounds you hear. Draw a picture of 5 things you hear making sound.
Have a music scavenger hunt at your home. Find as many items that can make these sounds: Shake, tap, scrape.
Find a song you like and improvise body percussion to go along with it. Remember some ways we can make sounds with our bodies (think of the beat detective game). You can: clap, stomp, pat, jump, snap, etc.
