“I am delighted to introduce the Master's of Landscape Architecture batch of 2020–2022. The School of Planning and Architecture is a pioneer in delivering this Postgraduate programme of Landscape Architecture in the country. Over the course of two years, students receive intensive guidance in landscape evaluation and design methodologies using ecological principles while bearing in mind the socio-economic and cultural contexts in which cities and villages dwells and operates.

As the nation grows to meet the challenges of urbanisation through a variety of policies and programmes at the national, state, and local levels, students are well prepared and equipped in a variety of subject areas such as plant systems and processes, plants and design, landscape engineering, eco-system analysis, and field ecology, among others, to contribute to improving the quality of life in the country. The course also relies on making the individuals industry ready equipped with both technical and soft skills.

This group of students comprises of very motivated and capable young professionals, and I wish them all the best in their future endeavours."
