In starting the Sown in Light Book Club, my prayer is simple: to create a space for women to gather around powerful stories that reflect the complexities of life.
Stories of womanhood.
Stories of motherhood.
Stories of love, faith, grief, and even anger.
Stories that sit with hard questions and still make room for light.
This book club is born from my own journey as a writer, a reader, and a woman learning to honor every part of herself. I’ve loved books since before I could read. They’ve always been where I go to feel seen, challenged, and held. And now, I want to invite you to do that together.
We’re not here to rush. We’re not here to perform. We’re here to reflect, to connect, and to make space for joy, and growth.
Whether we’re crying through a memoir, laughing at a character’s mess, or sitting quietly with a line that lingers in our spirit, I pray this space feels like home.
So grab a book. Pull up a seat. And let’s let the light lead us.
