Captain erik pina

Captain Erik Piña is a native to San Antonio, Texas where he attended Highlands High School. He joined the Army enlisted ranks in July of 1997 after graduation and served 13 years, making the rank of Sergeant First Class. He later applied for and was selected for the Air Force Professional Officer Course - Early Release Program. In 2012, he completed the program and gained his commission from Texas State University - Reserve Officer Training Corps, San Marcos, Texas. Captain Piña then continued active duty service until his retirement from the Air Force in 2022. His military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Air and Space Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Captain Piña earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychological Studies from Wayland Baptist University, San Antonio, Texas and is also a graduate of the elite US Army Ranger Course.

He and his wife, Denise, are adventurous travelers who devote their time and love to their five young men ranging from 12 to 25 years old. As a family they enjoy many activities, to include football, soccer, basketball, boy scouts, and the occasional board game.


Master Sergeant Antonio Araujo Jr.

Master Sergeant Antonio Araujo Jr. is a native of El Paso, Texas. He entered the Air Force in May of 1997 after graduating from San Elizario High School . Sergeant Araujo retired from active duty in November 2017. His military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Sergeant Araujo has a Bachelors Degree in Management of Information Systems from Wayland Baptist University.

He is a devoted family man and his hobbies include golf, softball, and the outdoors. Sergeant Araujo is married to Katherine Araujo and they are blessed with four children.
