About the Program:
The CREATE Community Ambassadors program is a quarterly training and practicum program designed for teens and young adults aged 15-21 interested in Child and youth development, and community health & wellness. Each cohort comprises 10 interns who receive 100 hours of training, mentoring, and hands-on experience in program coordination, community engagement, and project development.
Through structured training, mentorship, and real-world application, interns develop career-related skills, leadership abilities, and teamwork while contributing to meaningful projects that benefit their peers and the broader community. The program emphasizes professional growth, social-emotional learning, and workforce readiness, ensuring that participants leave with practical experience and a strong foundation for future opportunities.

Qualifications:
To be eligible for this internship opportunity, you must:
Must reside in the City of Chicago. Preference is given to teens living in one of the following Community areas: Roseland, Washington Heights, Morgan Park, Beverly, West Pullman, Riverdale, Pullman, West Pullman, Auburn Gresham, and Burnside.
Be between the ages of 15 and 21.
Feel comfortable speaking publicly and engaging with youth.
Be responsible, punctual, and committed to making a positive impact.
Have availability to work evenings and weekends.
Term/Compensation:
10-week internship
Up to 8 hours In -Person/2 Hours Virtual per week commitment
$1000 stipend awarded upon successful completion of the internship
