Background:


Mr. Feren is a 1990 graduate of South Range High School.  While in high school, he participated in football, basketball, and baseball.  After graduation, he attended Baldwin Wallace College and Youngstown State University earning a degree in Health and Physical Education.  He began his teaching and coaching career at Jefferson Area school system.  At Jefferson, he was the offensive coordinator for the varsity football team.  In 2008, Mr. Feren joined the South Range staff as a teacher and coach.  At South Range, he has coached football, basketball and softball.  In 2009, he was named head softball coach.  In 2015, he became the director of athletics at South Range.  Mr. Feren was inducted into the South Range Athletic Hall of Fame in 1996 for his football accomplishments.  He, and his two daughters, Drew and Jamie, reside in the South Range school district.

Brock Miller- Assistant AD


Mr. Brock Miller is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was a 2006 graduate of Oak Hills High School.  While in high school, Mr. Miller participated in football, basketball, and baseball.  After graduation, he continued his football career at Bluffton University while earning a degree in Mathematics.  He then began his teaching and coaching career at Ross High School in Hamilton, Ohio.  While at Ross, he was a part of the coaching staff for the football and baseball programs.  In 2012, Mr. Miller joined the staff of Columbiana High School where he also had the pleasure of coaching football and basketball.  In 2015, Mr. Miller proudly joined the South Range Local School District as a teacher and coach.  He is currently teaching 8th grade mathematics and enjoys being a part of the coaching staff for our girls’ basketball program.  He, his wife Abi, and their two daughters, Emmie and Rowan, reside in Poland, Ohio, but they are all very proud Raiders at heart, and feel privileged to open-enroll into the district, participate in extracurricular activities, and root on their beloved SR student-athletes!
