Students will work on reading comprehension and written work. This varies greatly by specific student and class group. Additional specific skills that may be targeted include:
Sight word recognition
Reading level (decoding/comprehension)
Reading fluency
Reading strategies
Decoding skills (rhyming, segmentation, etc.)
Written skills
spelling
sentence format
paragraph writing format
Students will utilize computer based programs to support language arts learning and content
