Founders' Day

On this day, January 15th, 1908, nine visionary women at Howard University sparked a sisterhood that has grown into a global force for good.

From that first meeting in Miner Hall to today, we proudly stand as a sisterhood of over 360,000 members across 12 nations, including the U.S., Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, UAE, Germany, Japan, Liberia, Nigeria, South Korea, South Africa, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Administration, and the theme 'Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood, we honor the enduring legacy of our Founders, and continue to impact communities globally.
