Sudden Impulse- 

Sudden Impulse is the 6th-8th Grade auditioned show choir from Southeast Polk Junior High and  Middle School. Students involved in this group are also part of at least one of 5 curricular choirs. It is under the direction of Katharine Hyland with assistance from Georgia Casner and choreographed by Nicole McBride.  In 2025, Sudden Impulse competed at  Ankeny Centennial, Norwalk Nexus  and placed First overall in the middle school division at Fort Madison in the middle school category.  Students in Sudden Impulse practice Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:15-5:00 PM every week.
