The Chamber Singers is the premier, auditioned vocal ensemble at Southeast Polk High School. They perform music from every style period and are highly active, performing for a number of school and community events throughout the year. Members of The Chamber Singers are routinely selected for festivals including the Iowa All-State Choir and ISU Honor Choir.
The Women's Chorale is open to any junior or senior female and to sophomores, by audition. Chorale explores a variety of literature for advanced women's choir, both accompanied and a cappella.
The Treble and Bass Clef Choirs are open to any student who is interested in a choral experience at Southeast Polk.
RAMification, is the award-winning varsity show choir at SEP, under the direction of Jamie Logan, and assisted by Madison Becthold and Melina Murrane, is set to take you on a journey among the stars. With choreography by Lexi Bulgewicz and Braxton Carr, and show design by Hannah Johnson, RAMification brings to life the inspiring story of Cecilia Payne, a trailblazing astronomer who overcame immense challenges to reveal the true composition of the stars.
Their 2025 show, "Follow Your Star," is a celebration of resilience, curiosity, and discovery. RAMification hopes that Dr. Payne’s story reminds us all to reach for the stars!
Southeast Polk's treble prep show choir, Vocal Gold, is one of 6 choral offerings at Southeast Polk High School. Vocal Gold is comprised of 82 singers, band, and crew. Under the direction of Patrick Carew, assisted by Madison Keil, Cael Newman, and Hailey Scroggins, with choreography by Anne Chapman and arrangements by Reid Larsen. VG is excited to present their 2026 show, Vocal Gold: Chasing the Light. Vocal Gold regularly places in the top three of their division and has received caption awards for best soloists and competed in finals.
