The Chamber Singers is the premier, auditioned vocal ensemble at Southeast Polk High School. They perform music from every style period and are highly active, performing for a number of school and community events throughout the year. Members of The Chamber Singers are routinely selected for festivals including the Iowa All-State Choir and ISU Honor Choir.
The Chorale Choir is open to any junior or senior female and to sophomores, by audition. Chorale explores a variety of literature for advanced women's choir, both accompanied and a cappella.
The Treble and Bass Clef Choirs are open to any student who is interested in a choral experience at Southeast Polk.
RAMification, Southeast Polk High School’s varsity show choir, under the direction of Jamie Logan and assisted by Madison Keil, Cael Newman and Hailey Scroggins, invites you into the world of one of history’s most iconic composers: Ludwig van Beethoven. With choreography by Lexi Robson and Braxton Carr, and show design by Hannah Johnson, RAMification brings to life the emotional journey of a genius whose music continues to shape our world today.
Their 2026 show, “The Sound of Silence,” follows Beethoven as he navigates fame, pressure, and the devastating loss of his hearing—his most cherished gift. From the wonder of his youth, to the brilliance of his early successes, to the private pain he hid for years, we witness both his struggle and his extraordinary resilience.
RAMification hopes that Beethoven’s story inspires us all to find light in adversity and to create joy, even in our darkest moments.
Southeast Polk's treble prep show choir, Vocal Gold, is one of 6 choral offerings at Southeast Polk High School. Vocal Gold is comprised of 84 singers, band, and crew. Under the direction of Patrick Carew, assisted by Madison Keil, Cael Newman, and Hailey Scroggins, with choreography by Anne Chapman and arrangements by Reid Larsen. VG is excited to present their 2026 show, Vocal Gold: Chasing the Light. Vocal Gold regularly places in the top three of their division and has received caption awards for best soloists and competed in finals.
