Projects 

We will begin the year learning about The States of Matter and physical and chemical changes. During this unit, students will begin their first Science Project - Making the Perfect Pancake!! In this project students will be able to observe different stages of Matter as well as physical and chemcial changes. More information will be sent home the first week of school. I am attaching a copy of the project paper and an example project to use for reference. Due Dates will be assigned the first week of school.  

Elements Project 

We began our first Science unit learning about matter, atoms, elements, compounds, molecules, and more! During this unit, students were able to study the Periodic Table and find one element of interest to complete their Element Project. Students have been researching and learning more about their Element over the past week in class. Now, it's time to take the information  they have learned (and more if they want to reserach deeper) and display it on a project board to present to the class. Project papers and note cards will be given to students on Monday, Aug. 25. Final projects (note cards and project boards) are due by Tuesday, Sept. 2   Project Examples and Rubric are below
