5th Graders are learning about Matter and the Properties of Matter by Making the Perfect Pancake! In this assignment, students learned how pancakes go through all 3 stages of matter, about physical and chemical properties/changes of matter, and methods in science. Students had to define what they thought the perfect pancake would look like and taste like, the ingredients to making the perfect pancake, their steps, and record their observations. I'll continue to upload pictures throughout the week. Looks like we have some little chefs! Great job 5th Graders! 

6th Graders are applying their studies of the Scientfic Method by investigating owl pellets. While dissecting owl pellets, students were able to see the tiny bones from the owl's meal, learn about the owl's diet, and sort the bones to try to figure out which animals they belong.
