Please keep in mind that the best browser to use is Google Chrome. It will make all Google applications work better, including Google Classroom and Google Sites.
If you post ANYTHING on your Google Site or Google Classroom, please remember to adjust the share settings to reflect 'Anyone with the Link' (public access) or 'South Country Central School District' (South Country employees and students must be logged into an South Country account to access).
One helpful strategy is to create a folder that has the permissions you wish to set for the files and put your files in that folder. The files will take the permissions of that parent folder.
Anything you link to should really be in your Google Drive. It will make the acquisition easier for all parties. This is ESPECIALLY true if you are posting to Google Sites. You MUST have your files in your Google Drive in order to have them post on Google Sites.
