EdLaw 2D

All software used in the District, both free and subscription-based, are vetted for compliance with New York State Education Law 2d, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, and the Children's Internet Protection Act.  This is a "living" list that is updated regularly which shows the sites that have been deemed as approved for use in the District.  The District Approved Software List contains a link to the Privacy Policy and additional information specific to the company's policies.  In addition, where appropriate, we have included supplemental information that further explains the protection of student and staff data.

District Approved Software List- only software with documentation provided can be used with students.  Please DO NOT allow your students to access any other software or log in to any website, by using login with Google or creating a username and password, unless it is approved by the district.

If you wish to request approval for a tool, please click on the appropriate building request form below.  Upon the request being made, it will go through an internal approval process before the district designee seeks to obtain the appropriate contracts from the vendor.  Please be patient as this process can take months to complete.
