Cost: $99 for 4 classes/month
We continually strive to provide the best learning resources that we can to our students! Our resources and curriculum are ever-shifting to provide novel learning through play experiences.
In general, our resources can be categorized by:
Instruments: Sensory-friendly and child-safe instruments.
Music: A diverse collection of songs and chants designed to accultruate children to different tonalities and meters.
Books: Music-themed picture books with sensory elements.
Teachers: Our teachers train in a multitude of learning and student engagement strategies such as Music Learning Theory and DIR informed practices to provide the most accessible and engaging learning environment for our students
Mini-Maestros is an opportunity for students to learn through play!
As students participate, they will develop musical, literacy, and social skills such as:
Musical Exploration: Introduce and acculturate children to various tonalties, meters, patterns and styles of music through movement, singing and piano.
Rhythm and Movement: Develop coordination and rhythm through movement and dance.
Creativity and Expression: Encourage self-expression through musical activities and performance.
Listening Skills: Enhance listening skills and auditory response.
Social Interaction: Promote social skills through group activities and cooperative play.
Sensory Integration: Address sensory sensitivities with adaptive activities.
Routine and Predictability: Establish a consistent schedule to provide a sense of security.
Emotional Regulation: Use music as a tool for self-regulation and expression.
We ensure all instruments are age-appropriate and safe.
We include a variety of activities to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
We are mindful of noise levels to avoid overwhelming sensitive children.
Learning is a collaborative and shared activity! We believe that everyone learns best when their community is involved, which is why we provide resources and instructions for learning at home.
