MMTCP Approved Retreats
To support you in fulfilling the silent retreat requirement for the MMTCP program, we've gathered a selection of in-person and online retreats from various locations worldwide. All of these retreats meet the MMTCP prerequisite requirements. Many of these retreats include teachers who are current or former mentors or faculty for the MMTCP.
Additional Retreat Centers
To further support you, here is a partial list of retreat centers that may also offer additional residential retreats that meet the MMTCP requirements. Please note that MMTCP has not reviewed or approved all of these retreats, centers, offerings, or teachers. Please check to make sure a retreat meets the criteria. Reminder: to meet the MMTCP prerequisite retreat criteria, a residential retreat must:
a)be a silent retreat in the Insight Meditation/vipassana tradition and
b) must be at least 5 days (4 nights)
Online retreats will not meet the requirement unless they are approved in advance by the MMTCP (see the list of approved online retreats above).
