RFY Initiatives

"Adopted" Initiatives

RFY adopted several initiatives that were either already underway or likely to happen whether or not SOU participated in RFY: The Bridge Program, the Course Design Academy, and the development of Predictive Analytics. Adoption of these initiatives by RFY has had several advantages, both for the initiatives themselves, and for the RFY project as a whole, because RFY has enabled the sharing of ideas. For example, Bridge and the CDA have integrated Belonging and Mindset ideas into their programs. RFY also has helped identify possible data points for incorporation into the Predictive Analytics model. The RFY team assumes that these initiatives will continue, and hopes that their work will be associated with and benefit from the larger RFY project.
