Privacy Policy

Sorven is provided by KGT and is designed to organize a personal inventory without advertising or behavioral tracking. This policy explains what the current app processes, where information is stored, and the choices available to you.

Information you provide

Sorven processes the information you choose to add, including profile details; asset names, identifiers, values, locations, categories, conditions, and notes; photos and attachments; purchase, warranty, insurance, repair, maintenance, and ownership records; moving sessions; and reminder settings.

On-device storage and private iCloud

Your vault is stored on your device. If iCloud Sync is enabled and available, Apple synchronizes app records through the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. KGT does not operate a separate account system or inventory server and does not receive the contents of your private vault. Apple processes iCloud data under its own terms and privacy policy.

Permissions

Sorven requests access only when you use a related feature. Camera access scans barcodes, QR codes, and asset tags. Apple's photo and file pickers provide only the items you select. Face ID or Touch ID can protect access to the app; biometric matching is performed by the operating system and Sorven does not receive biometric data. If enabled, Sorven schedules notifications for warranty, insurance, and maintenance reminders.

Purchases and external connections

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Sorven receives purchase and entitlement information needed to unlock Pro features, but not your full payment-card details. If you import an image from a web address, the app contacts that address and the host may receive standard connection information such as your IP address. No third-party analytics, advertising SDK, or tracking service is active in this version.

Exports, support, and sharing

Backups, reports, labels, manifests, and other exports are created only when you request them and are sent to the location or person you choose through Apple's sharing and file interfaces. If you email support or feedback, you choose what to send; the message and contact details are then processed by your email provider and received by KGT for the purpose of responding.

Retention, deletion, and security

Information remains on your device and, when enabled, in your private iCloud database until you edit or delete it. Sorven includes controls to delete vault data, but exported copies and backups must be removed separately from the places where you saved them. Device security, App Lock, and Apple's platform protections help safeguard data, but no storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep an independent backup of critical records.

Your choices

You can deny or revoke camera, photo, notification, and biometric permissions in Apple System Settings; turn iCloud Sync off for a device; export a backup; or delete app data. Some features will not work without their related permission or Apple service.

Children, changes, and contact

Sorven is a general-purpose inventory tool and is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change and will revise the effective date.
