Lab of Metabolism and Healthy Aging

We focus on the molecular mechanism of cellular processes in the setting of metabolic disease progression with particular interest on inter-cellular and inter-organ communication. 

Our group is highly committed to provide a novel insight into how multiple organs/cells communicate each other to contribute to regulating energy homeostasis and metabolic disease progression using the integrative biochemical, genetic and multi-omics approaches from cell biology and animal models. Our long term goal is the development of novel strategies for prevention and treatment of various metabolic diseases to improve people's health.
