Shutter Speeds

Shutter Speed is the time that light is allowed to reach the sensor.  They are measured in fractions of a second and can go as fast as 1/4000 of a second and as long as 30 seconds, forever with the Bulb setting. Shutter Speeds control motion in an image.  You can either blur or freeze motion depending on your chosen shutter speed.
