I believe that this "scribble bot" is classifiable as a robot. A robot is often characterized as a machine that has been programmed to complete specific tasks on demand. Our scribble bot was programed by twisting the two wires together; completing the circuit and initiating the command to scribble. It is capable of completing the task given on it's own so yes, it is a robot.
