SONGKIT has initially manufactured Blind and Curtain components for the domestic market such as curtain rail, roller, bracket, clutch bracket, bottom rail, etc. In 1989 SONGKIT Metal Work has registered a new company is SONGKIT home products Co., Ltd. (100% Thai owned) Which emphasize in import materials from abroad such as Fabrics, Motorize, Metal ceiling, conference seats, components and etc from qualified suppliers and SONGKIT Metal still has manufactured components. SONGKIT Home Product has had 87 employees in the past. SONGKIT Home Product supplies and installs interior and architectural decorating materials in particular with shades, blinds.

  1. Incoming inspections ensure that all deliveries to the company are in accordance with established performance and safety standards, so that they are fit to join the production process.

  2. Assembly Process inspection performs regular checks throughout production to prevent non-conformance parts from unintended use.

  3. Final inspection verifies that all items are of a consistent standard and optimum performance before being installed to customers.

Organization structure

As our business characteristic is SMEs, so we are limited by complex organization level authorization and have a small team to operate, however thanks to the Information Technology, we have start quite early since late 90's and be able to give us fast response and service to a numerous number of clients which compare to the flexibility on decision making to provide the best service to commercial and residential customer. Due to the small team, we are not quite divide into a formal organization structure as usual, tasks, information and decision with the assist of modern software technology are flow across all the staff as a big team, we just found out that what we did since the part are similar to the newly today new generation working style.


Opensource OS & Software

Since early 2000, we start to invest on adopting the open-license operating system such as Linux based and opensource software to try on our business, there is a lot of success stories and milestone we could achieve and can be able to replace all the cost effective software and be able to train our staffs to work smoothly.

This could help us reduce a lot of internal and back-office costs, even though we can still exchange the information with other partners and customers who have different document formats without any boundary on daily basis tasks.


ERP is the core

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is the heart of all operation to our company Since late 90's, we are investing and keep on develop our inhouse unique ERM software in order to be able to handle our daily job, thus with a small software to meet all the of our own style of working mixing with small CRM which we call it songkitERM using widely in our organization and department including, production planning, quality control, accounting, purchasing, import and logistics etc

As the manufacturer of the leading blinds company in Thailand, the sales and after-sales service is playing an important role and challenge for us. The communications or inbound inquiry either by call, email, text or by means of other channels, more than 95% we are successfully intercept and transform to task which need to prioritized by our staff and alert as an important tasks in our organization, we have adopted the CRM (customer relationship management system) in early 2000 and integrated with our ERP for after sale service in order to handle all the in and outbound transaction in order to complete all the request from customer and will not miss a task as possible as you can.

Project & Task management for jobs

In order to make our small team handle various large projects, Our company invests in adopting all the best software on the cloud especially ERP, CRM and Project management software etc. we are able to achieve all the internal and external communication and operation with proper decision making throughout the company. This brings so much efficiency and be able to give the communication services between client and partners without any boundary.


Our IT infrastructure and digital transformation

We started with bulky hardware for IT with a high cost and expensive investment on- premise infrastructure since the late '90s. Today we have moved everything to the cloud platform with all the SaaS applications and software on the cloud with the combination of a special connector in order to generate all automation to our daily task which can reduce the redundant, bottle neck and repetition task for our small team.

Final conclusion

We are keeping on developing our job in order to go with the present situation and market's demand based on what we are capable of. There were several mistakes and we were successful in the past as our lesson, it doesn't make us stop on our development.
