When: Saturday, November 9th | Where: UC Davis -Russell Field
The inaugural Guardian Games will be hosted in conjunction with Special Olympics Northern California’s Fall Games Championship this fall. Guardian Games is an inclusive opportunity to bring our community together with Special Olympics athletes for a fun and active experience. Teams of six will be comprised of business/community leaders, one Special Olympics athlete, and one Law Enforcement Torch Run representative to compete in a variety of sports and activities. Law enforcement supports Special Olympics throughout the year and local personnel serve as the “Guardians of the Flame” for the Special Olympics Torch. Events will include corn hole, rubber axe throwing, giant Jenga, and a police cruiser pull. Join us for Guardian Games and compete alongside Special Olympics athletes, meet other community leaders, and raise funding and awareness to promote inclusion!
