A MESSAGE FROM CEO DAVID SOLO

Dear Athletes, Families, Coaches, Volunteers, Supporters & Fans –

I am excited to see all of you once again at the 2022 Summer Games! This will be our first in-person Summer Games since 2019 and our very first at Santa Clara University.

I continue to be impressed by the passion, determination, positivity and strength of our community throughout the past few years. Even in our toughest times, you continued to stick together and lift each other up. It is thanks to your incredible resilience and spirit that we are now able to gather together again to celebrate another Summer Games.

To our coaches, volunteers, law enforcement supporters, sponsors and partners: thank you for all that you do for Special Olympics and for your tireless efforts at Summer Games. And to our athletes: good luck this weekend, have fun and I look forward to cheering you on!

I hope everyone has a joyful and safe Summer Games weekend. Please help us stay healthy by following the current protocols and taking precautions as needed. I will see you there.
