SOMSD III TIMELINE:  2023 - 24 SY

• January 30th - February 17th - Kindergarten Registration 

• March 20th - March 31st - Intentional Integration Grades Registration (1st, 2nd, 6th, & 7th)

• May 15th - Open Enrollment for all grades

• Week of April 10th - 6th Grade (current 5th grade) III placement letters sent to families

• Week of April 24th - 1st Round Kindergarten placement letters to be sent to families

• July 2023 - ONGOING - Placement letters will continue to be sent out to families for students placed based on III (K, 1, 2, 6, & 7)

• September 2023:  Teacher/classroom assignment letters will be sent one week before the start of the school year

• September 7th:  First Day of School
