Breathwork is a somatic practice –meaning it relates to the body, especially as distinct from the mind– and is a form of active meditation. It can provide a gateway to expanded states of consciousness and self-awareness. It can offer access to and release of deep emotional layers that are often beyond the reach of traditional healing methods like talk therapy.
This intentional breathing pattern allows us to tap into our home frequency and our intuitive ability to heal, creating space for profound change on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
I offer this practice as taught to me by David Elliott — a profoundly spiritual approach grounded in the belief that love is the most powerful force for healing.

Breath is the bridge between the conscious and unconscious mind. Through this two-stage rhythmic breathing we can:
Bypass the ego, experience embodiment, and open up the emotional body
Release stuck energy, fear, grief, and trauma
Access deep states of presence, peace, and clarity
Invite in love, both from within and beyond
Love is the medicine.
At the core of most pain is a disconnection from love—especially self-love.
Breathwork rekindles the heart’s innate capacity to give and receive love.
Emotions like fear, shame, and grief aren’t barriers—they're doorways. The breath supports us in meeting and moving these feelings, allowing healing to unfold.
You don’t need to be fixed—you are already whole. This journey is about clearing what blocks your light so your true Self can shine through.
Our bodies carry the imprint of past experiences. Breathwork creates a safe space to access and release stored emotional energy, gently supporting the body’s return to balance.
The modality I facilitate is a rhythmic breath with a two-stage inhale. The first inhale expands the lower belly, the second expands the chest, and then a relaxed exhale. The entire breath cycle happens through the mouth.
Each group session is themed on the energy of the new moon. With the astrology elements, I invite participants to take what resonates and leave the rest. While these themes can be a guide on what to explore during breathwork, you will benefit from the practice by simply allowing what needs to come up.
I choose to combine the new moon astrology and breathwork because this phase of the moon invites new beginnings and this breathwork modality invites us to continually begin again with each breath and inturn by releasing fear and other stuck emotions so that we can return to our natural state of living through love and with an open heart.
After a few relaxing breaths to settle into the space, I will guide you through the active breath practice for approximately 30 minutes. Afterwards, we will return to our normal breath pattern and allow time for what needs to come up.
"The healing happens when people feel. The breath and the music create the space for that to happen.
– David Elliot, My Breathwork Teacher
Once grounded back into our bodies, we will take time to integrate and process through journaling and the invitation to share in a group setting if you are comfortable with doing so.
