Each year, the Culture and Climate Survey is distributed to students, parents/guardians, and staff to take in their anonymous feedback on where they feel our school stands. This data is then used to help set a trajectory and plan for our next school year.
MBA Middle School uses data extensively in our progress monitoring in both reading and math. The data regarding student achievement has influenced our staffing and programming. Our commitment to continuous improvement in academics has led to noticeable growth within our School Accountability Index.
Being reflective practitioners both within and outside of the classroom spaces allows for us to look for growth opportunities. By engaging in debrief sessions after regular drills, crisis situations or challenging circumstances, we note and make effective changes that improve our overall school community.
As professionals, we continuously review our practice and seek out workshop and learning opportunities to improve our curriculum development, instructional practices, and assessment techniques.
