Mrs. Rivard is a Somers resident and has been teaching for 12 years!  She started her teaching career as a 7th grade language arts teacher in Plainville, CT, and joined the MBA family as a 7th grade language arts teacher seven years ago.  This year, will be her third year as MBA's Library Media Specialist!

Mrs. Rivard loves to read dystopian or fantasy novels.  She is very tech-savvy and is excited to work with the MBA and Somers Schools communities.  She has two sons, Gabriel and Skyler, and two dogs, Finnigan and Ripley.  Stop by the media center and say hello!  Everyone is welcome here.

Mrs. Gioscia joins Mrs. Rivard in the media center throughout the school day and assists with the check-in/check-out process, library organization, book talks, and many other important tasks.
