Where do I find a book's call number in Destiny Discover?

You should locate the call number below the title and author. The call number for fiction starts with FIC and the call number for nonfiction starts with a number (ex. 912). Both "starters" will be followed by the first three letters of the author's last name.
Where do I find a book's subcategory in Destiny Discover?
A subcategory can also be called a genre. The subcategory should be listed just below the call number. This is most important for fiction novels, as the fiction section in the library is organized by genre. Examples of subcategories are realistic fiction or fantasy.
How do I find a genre in the media center?
Look at the top of each book shelf. You will see a white paper displaying the genre of the books you will find on the shelves below.
Is (book title) in the library?
Maybe...check the catalog! There is a link to the Destiny Discover catalog and the Mabelle B. Avery catalog (They are the same thing, they just look a little different.) on the Media Center home page.
Do you have multiple copies of books?
We have several copies of some popular titles. These can be found in the partner reading section of the library, near the fiction wall display.
