Material Sources

Natural morphological features, human interventions, orographic and hydrographic structures, buildings, infrastructures, and archaeological artefacts are all examples of material sources that show the purposes and forms of habitation in the past. Coins, pottery, potsherd, ornaments, all such artefacts, articles, monuments or their ruins are called the ‘material sources’ of history.
