RETAIN OF TWO POLES AFTER DIVIDING A SINGLE MAGNET INTO TWO MAGNETS.
Magnet is an important object because of its versatile use.
A magnet consist of domains packed together, and each of them has there own north and south pole.
So when magnet breaks or we cut it [NOTE:we are strictly talking about permanent magnets].
The domains rearrange themselves and south north pole are generated this is one of the most important and useful property of domains that they make there own north south poles irrespective of the size shape of the magnet.
Hence when we magnet breaks it again forms a small magnet having north and south pole and all the pieces will point in north south direction.
Therefore the two parts will point in N-S direction.
Even if magnet is finely small it has both north and south pole as MONOPOLES ARE NOT POSSIBLE!
