Welcome to our Occupational Therapy Activity Page. You will work with both Miss. V. and Mrs. B for these video OT based activities. Parents, we suggest that you supervise your child while performing tasks presented, especially using scissors . These are some of the skills we work on in OT sessions but these videos are not meant to be a substitute for therapy sessions . We ask that if you have any concerns for your child performing these tasks to please consult his /her doctor.
We suggest that you gather a few therapy supplies and keep them handy in an OT box or bin. You might have your child locate and add pencil, markers, crayons, scissors, writing paper or any type of paper, newspaper or magazine, a pair of socks, pennies, play-doh, soup cans/water bottles.

First please watch our introduction video on the left hand side of this box. Below you will find three videos that contain warm up exercises: brain gym exercises, hand/finger exercises and upper extremity strengthening exercises. We will guide you and direct you on what video to complete at the beginning of the OT sessions/activities. Thank you!
Cross jacks, Mountain Climbers, Donkey Kicks and Rock-Ups-no equipment required
You can use soup cans, water bottles, or small dumbbells
All you need is your hands!
You will need newspaper, magazines or any type of paper and scissors or your hands.
You will need any type of paper and crayons/colored pencils or markers for this activity
You can use anything you may have for this activity: Q-tips, Pencils/Pens, Toothpicks, Aluminum Foil or Pipe Cleaners. Be Creative!

All you need is your body. Also in the end of this video you can use a coloring page, puzzle or any activity to complete on your stomach
All you need is any shoe. Or you can create your own box with a shoebox or cardbord box, a piece of thick string or rope for beginners or a shoelace .
Any clothing items with large buttons, small buttons, zippers and snap buttons.
Parent supervision and help cutting box may be needed. You need any type of food box (crackers, cereal, etc), a piece of paper, scissors, and glue stick. Save these pieces!!! We will use them again.
You will need your puzzle pieces from your box, a pencil, crayons or markers and piece of paper. If you didn't save your puzzle pieces- no problem just have a parent cut some shapes out of a box or piece of cardboard.
