What is CaliforniaColleges.edu?

CaliforniaColleges.edu is the State of California’s official college and career planning platform for 6th-12th grade students enrolled in public school districts. It is a state-funded comprehensive digital platform with the tools students need to develop their college and career plans, available at no cost to students, educators, and parents/guardians in public school districts.

The platform enables 6th-12th grade students to obtain the information and guidance they need to successfully complete college and financial aid processes, while also providing tools for educators to identify students that need the most help and target their interventions effectively.

The Virtual Front Desk will allow students the opportunity to receive the following services:

  • Registration Assistance (1 sem)

  •  Concurrent Enrollment Form

  • Dual Enrollment Form

  •  Other - Brief Qs

  •  Academic Probation Questions

  • Pre-Requisite Clearance

O*Net Online

O*Net Online is a tool for career exploration and job analysis. O*NET offers a variety of search options and occupational data.

College Navigator

College Navigator provides data to assist students, parents, high school counselors, and others obtain information from over nearly 6,000 postsecondary institutions in the United States and other areas.

Computer Science in 3 Years

CSin3 is a unique program offered in partnership between Hartnell College and California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB), which provides a pathway and support structure for students to earn a bachelor’s degree in computer science in three years.

The California CareerZone helps students, educators, jobseekers, and others access up-to-date information on wages, job openings, and other information. California Career Zone assist students contemplating college or career. Users may assess their interests, skills, and work values with the O*NET Interest Profiler.
