Race for Education

Update

The annual Race for Education Spirit Week will be held from Mon., April 27 to Thur., April 30, with the actual Race for Education scheduled for Friday, May 1st. Both events are sponsored by the Providence Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization.

While it will be different than in the past, this year's spirit week and virtual race day can be fun...and rewarding! Each activity you participate in throughout the week gives you a chance to be entered into a drawing for some exciting prizes! You earn tickets for the prize drawing when your parents / guardians email pictures of you showing your spirit through the week and engaging in some form of physical activity on race day!

Spirit Week Schedule

● Monday: Pajama Day

● Tuesday: Crazy Socks Day

● Wednesday: Tie Dye -or- Black & Gold Day

● Thursday: Jersey Day - Wear your favorite team jersey!

● Friday: Race Day!

On race day, gather your family and ask them to join you as you run, walk, dance, exercise, or participate in some other physical activity!

DON'T FORGET! Have your parents / guardians snap pictures of you participating in the activities scheduled throughout the week for your chance to win prizes! Pictures should be emailed to Mr. Reiprich at matthew_reiprich@solancosd.org by the end of the day on May 1st.
