As a Home Healthcare organization, we take essential steps each day to ensure the privacy of our patient’s information. All employees are required to complete HIPAA compliance training at hire and on an annual basis thereafter. This training will be assigned to you in Paycom- check your "Checklist" tab and company communications for when your training will be due.
New hires: your training will take about an hour or so on your first day. You'll be given independent time to watch the videos and become a HIPAA expert.
We are glad to be able to share this information and ensure that our team is always in compliance while helping children and families to live their best lives.
Navigate to the "Learning" tab in Paycom, then click "My Learning" to find your HIPAA videos!
In the videos, your mission is to help protect the secret identity of the superhero Elemental Man.
You have to keep Elemental Man's PHI safe from the dastardly villain bent on stealing it!
Click your way through the videos for a fun training that gets you all the info you need to know to protect our patients data.
HIPAA compliance is EVERYONE's responsibility here at Solace.
ALWAYS get at least two identifying pieces of information AND check the chart to ensure that a caller is authorized prior to discussing any Solace patient. Remember, we do not even disclose a child is a patient with Solace unless we have verified the caller's information and made sure they are listed in the chart. If not in the chart, check the Admission Documents!
