Career & Technical Student Organizations
The clubs in CTAE programs are called Career & Technical Student Organizations or CTSOs. Each CTAE program has a CTSO. The CTSO is an integral part of the CTAE programs, not extracurricular like traditional student clubs, because leadership skills are taught in all CTAE programs. Participating in a CTSO gives a student the opportunity to develop friendships with students with similar interests, develop leadership skills, participate in community service, and apply skills learned in class in local, regional, state, and even national competitions.
