By plane:
Pisa International Airport (PSA) : it is possible to take the shuttle PisaMover bus shuttle (5€) or book a taxi (~15€). Alternatively the conference venue is approximately a 40-minutes walk away.
Firenze Airport (FLR) : there is a train connection between Firenze and Pisa; travel time is around 1 hour, with departures every 20 minutes.
By train:
Train to/from Firenze, approximately 1 hour.
Train to/from Roma or Milano, approximately 3 hours.

Palazzo della Carovana is the main building of the Scuola Normale Superiore.
It was built in 1562–1564 by Giorgio Vasari for the headquarters of the Knights of St. Stephen, as a renovation of the already existing Palazzo degli Anziani ("Palace of the Elders"). The name, meaning "Palace of the Convoy", derives from the three-year period undertaken by the initiates of the Order for their training, called "la Carovana".

The workshop will take place in Aula Dini of Palazzo del Castelletto.
Located in the square of the same name, the Palazzo del Castelletto was formerly home to the historic Pisan publishers Nistri-Lischi.It now houses a lecture hall which can seat 170, for conferences and teaching activities, named after the illustrious mathematician and former Scuola Normale director, Ulisse Dini.

The Palazzo del Collegio Puteano (Palace of the Putean College), located near to the Church of St Rocco, was built in the present form between 1549 and 1598. In 1605, it was given in perpetual rent to the Knights of St Stephen, to host some students from Piedmont, by order of Archbishop Carlo Antonio Dal Pozzo.
The place currently belongs to the Scuola Normale and hosts the research center in mathematics and the guesthouse.

Located between the Arno and Serchio rivers, the sea and the Barbaricina district of Pisa, the San Rossore estate is a naturalistic oasis of great value. From Pisa it is possible to enter the estate through the long Viale delle Cascine, which starts near the Piazza del Duomo, and through via delle Lenze. Already from the fifth century this was a refuge area for the city, so much so that in the Middle Ages the churches of San Bartolomeo and Santa Maddalena and the monastery of San Luxorio, or Rossore, were built there.
