Mario Piazza

I'm a Full Professor of Logic and Philosophy of Mathematics at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa (SNS), and a Corresponding Fellow of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei. 

I studied Philosophy at Sapienza University of Rome and the Pontifical Gregorian University, and earned a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Science from the University of Genoa in 1995. 

I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Warsaw (1995-96), the Utrecht Institute of Linguistics (OTS) (1997-98), and the Département d’Informatique at the École Normale Supérieure of Paris (1999-2000). Before joining SNS, I was a Full Professor of Logic in the Dept. of Philosophy at the University of Chieti-Pescara.
