Uniforms

OPTION 1: Dress

Option 1 consists of the choir dress and black closed-toed dress shoes (no tennis shoes, please). Character shoes are acceptable. No jewelry is allowed during performances. Hair should be out of the face and beautiful. Please note that there are two different dresses: the Cantate dress (for 6th graders only) and the Vivace/Bel Canto dress (for all 7th and 8th graders). Dresses should be hemmed such that the bottom of the dress is below the ankle but does not touch the floor.

OPTION 2: Black Suit, White Dress Shirt, Red Tie

Option 2 consists of a solid black suit, white buttoned-down collared dress shirt, official red HMS choir tie, black socks, and black dress shoes (no tennis shoes, please). Students who select option 2 are responsible for procuring their own uniform, except for the tie, which will be distributed before the first concert. Like option 1, hair must be out of the face and beautiful.
