Theatre credits date back to Touring Technical Director for the Indiana Repertory Theatre in 1972! Since studying technical theatre back when the earth was still cooling, and Wildlife Science (Purdue University, 1976) he served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Cameroon, W. Africa, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. John is an ordained (and retired) Lutheran pastor (1985), and has returned to work in theatre here at Saint Mary’s since 2015. Summers, you will find him working as a Park Ranger for the State of Wisconsin.

John’s chief responsibilities not only include building our sets, but helping students learn how to build without serious injury.
