I have consistently prioritized both required and self directed professional development to help improve my instructional practice and better serve my students. Each year, I complete all school mandated training programs, including Constructing Meaning and Grading for Equity, that have supported me in delivering equitable and effective instructional practices.
In addition to district training, I am always seeking opportunities to expand my skills and stay current with evolving technologies. Each year I refine my curriculum by integrating new, relevant projects that engage students and reflect real-world applications.
To further support my work in design, I completed my Adobe Certification in Graphic Design and Adobe Illustrator during the summer of 2024. In the spring of the same year, I also completed a professional course on Adobe InDesign through California College of the Arts. This summer, I am beginning work toward earning official Adobe Photoshop certification. These certifications directly support my teaching and allow me to offer students stronger instruction and prepare them for certification as well.
