IGETC

A grade of C or higher is required for all IGETC courses. The form can be found in our home page under Documents.

Test-Blind vs Test-Optional

Test-Blind

Colleges will not factor in test scores for admissions decisions, even if students submit scores.

Test-Optional

Test-optional policies can differ from one school to another. Most commonly, “test optional” means that students can choose whether or not to submit SAT, ACT, and other test scores for consideration.

Graduation Requirements

San Mateo Union High School District students must satisfactorily complete a minimum of 170 credits in required courses and 40 additional credits of elective coursework, making a total of 220 credits. Each course passed earns 5 credits.
