As Vice President, my goal is simple: to create an environment where every student feels truly seen and heard. No one’s high school experience should be shaped by the opinions of a small cabinet. I want to actively seek out your thoughts, your ideas, and your concerns, so that the decisions we make reflect our grade as a whole. This can be facilitated through anonymous polls requesting feedback on our initiatives.
Beyond representation, I want to strengthen the bond within our senior class. High school moves fast, and senior year should feel connected, not divided. Whether through game nights, outside-of-school initiatives, stronger support at events, or opportunities for students to branch out beyond their usual circles, I want the senior class to develop connections that will live beyond our high school years.
Ideas only matter if they’re carried out. I promise to be a reliable and pragmatic Vice President who takes action. I’ve spent my life playing team sports and stepping into leadership roles, and those experiences have taught me this: a team succeeds when everyone feels valued. Our grade is a team—and I am ready to lead it with dedication and heart.
I’m excited to run again for Class Cabinet Treasurer because after serving in this role last year, I’ve gained firsthand experience managing our funds and helping organize successful events. Being part of Cabinet has shown me how much planning, budgeting, and coordination go into every activity, and I’m confident in my ability to continue handling those responsibilities effectively.
As someone who is very involved in school, I have developed strong time management and organizational skills that allow me to balance multiple commitments and meet deadlines. Combined with the experience I’ve already gained as Treasurer, I know how to keep accurate financial records, budget responsibly, and make thoughtful decisions that benefit our entire class.
Because I already understand the process and expectations of this position, I’m ready to build on what we accomplished last year and make this year even better. I’m committed to keeping our finances organized, transparent, and focused on creating memorable and successful events for everyone.

If elected, I would work with my peers to make BHS a more engaging school for the entire student body. I want to be able to plan dances, fundraisers, & spirit weeks that helps to bring all the students together and foster a fun environment where everyone is an avid participant. Additionally, I would make sure that students are heard and that everyone is able to feel seen within our campus, this would be done by creating surveys so we can best cater to the needs of students and make positive changes to our school. I am good candidate for this position because of my responsibility, empathy, and the enjoyment I get from helping others. Whether it is supporting our school by running fundraisers, representing the student body, or improving school events, I am committed to making BHS a better place and helping to improve the experience of all of those who attend. With your vote, I can promise nothing but hard-work, and dedication to making BHS a better and more exciting environment.
Hi panthers!! I am Maddy Kulin and I would make a very good senior class historian because I have been a historian since freshman year and I am very familiar and comfortable with the role and the responsibilities that come with it. As well as being experienced I also am very passionate about improving the overall BHS environment and campus and making sure everyone has an opportunity to make their time at BHS a good one. I am a very good listener and love to take outside peoples feedback and ideas and make sure to incorporate them into the decisions and events that the class cabinet is in charge of to ensure that everyone feels like they have some sort of say in what happens.

Hi, I'm Elaina Newman and I am running for Junior Class Treasurer. I am the best candidate because I have had numerous experiences in leadership roles, such as President of National Charity League, captain of high level sports teams, and most importantly have enjoyed being your class treasurer for the past two years. I know what it takes to manage the role of Class Treasurer and have effectively organized many successful fundraisers and events during my freshman and sophomore year. I have also proudly represented our class these past two years in the annual LBG rally. If elected, I plan to keep a tight budget and create many more fundraising opportunities to raise money for future events such as socials, spirit days, winter formal, and prom. I will continue to encourage everyone's suggestions regarding our class budget and what it should be spent on during open meetings our cabinet plans to host multiple times each semester next year. My goal is to help make this coming year as memorable and fun as possible, but I can't do that without your help! Make sure to vote for Elaina Newman for Junior Class Treasurer, it just makes cents.

For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as your Class Historian, and I’m excited to run again to continue doing what's best our grade. Through this role, I’ve learned how important it is to capture not just large events, but the small, everyday moments that show our grades unique character. To better BHS, I want to improve how we document and share our memories by highlighting more student achievements, club events, sports games, and spirit weeks so everyone feels included and recognized. I also hope to introduce more fun ideas of social events for our grade, and to include more interactive aspects for our instagram. My experience over the last two years has helped me stay organized, consistent, and dedicated to representing our class well. I have really enjoyed my time in this role, and know ways to improve for next year, so I would truly appreciate your support to continue as your Class Historian.
Hi Panthers! My name is Tyler Liu and I am running for Junior Class Secretary. I am very passionate about leadership and intend to make our junior year as memorable as possible. In my prior years at BHS, I was a part of the leadership program, where I gained lots of valuable leadership skills and helped organize many loved events such as the Olympics, March Madness, and the Panther Bowl. From these experiences, I gained the necessary skills to help create a fun environment at BHS, while also planning fundraisers that benefit our class’ events such as Winter Formal and the end of the year celebration. In addition to leadership, I am involved in many student-led organizations, one being the Current Events club, that fosters awareness of the events in today’s society. Furthermore, I believe that all students should have the opportunity to place their input within what their class is doing, so I will listen to all suggestions that students may have, and communicate it to my fellow class cabinet members. With this said, I am looking forward to the upcoming year and hope to make our time at BHS as meaningful as possible!

Hello Class of 2028! My name is Collin Phonsombat, and I am running for re-election as your current Sophomore Class Secretary! As your Class Secretary for the past 2 years, I have had the privilege and experience to help organize events and further our class’s goals. I believe that this year has been an overall success and that we have met many goals, such as planning multiple events like the Chipotle Fundraiser. As Secretary, my goal is to ensure everyone’s voice is heard. If elected, I will advocate for more open meetings and opportunities for our peers to share their ideas with the cabinet. I believe that this would unite us as a class and would ultimately help us plan and organize more future events that our class would enjoy. Thank you for your consideration, and remember to vote Collin Phonsombat for Junior Class Secretary!
Aidan Martins
Hi Class of 2028! I’m Aidan Martins and I’m running for Class Coordinator. I’m committed to making this year as memorable and fun as possible while ensuring our class is represented in a positive and organized way. Through serving as captain of the Burlingame High School Freshman and JV basketball teams, I’ve developed strong leadership, accountability, and communication skills. I understand what it means to represent a group, follow through on responsibilities, and be someone others can rely on. As Class Coordinator, I will keep our social media updated, and reflective of our class spirit. Hi Class of 2029! My name is Elise Laxague and I am running to be your Sophomore class president. I have had the privilege to be your Freshman class president this school year and I would love to bring the same leadership skills I have gained this year into the 2026-2027 school year.
For those of you who don't know me, you should know that I am very outgoing and love to work with others. Additionally, I play soccer; which requires working collaboratively with others, pushing through tough challenges, and most importantly, performing well under pressure. Soccer has taught me how to pick myself up no matter how many times I fail, and that my mistakes don't define me; which are extremely important traits in a leader. I will bring these same qualities to student council next school year.
As your Sophomore class president, I want to make sure our school is fun and inclusive for everyone. In order to accomplish this, I would love to hear your ideas on how to make our Sophomore year the best year yet. I promise to bring an open mind, positive energy, and commitment to representing our class!
Vote Elise Laxague for Sophomore Class President!

Henry Mudd
My name is Henry Mudd - many of you might know me as your current Freshman Class Vice President. Previously I served as BIS 8th Grade Class President or maybe we have met in sports or classes.
As your current Freshman Class Vice President I really enjoyed working on the Fill the Stands events, Pep rally dances, creating posters, and organizing fundraisers.
My favorite thing about this leadership role is getting people to come to school events, and I think we did a great job.
As your Sophomore Vice President I already have some ideas for next year, but my biggest goal is to have even greater attendance/turnout for school events and celebrations. The reason school events are fun is because we are all together. These events help us become closer. That's the purpose of the class cabinet and I really see the importance of making the most of our time together.
One of my best strengths is that I am a good listener. I really want to hear your ideas and work to bring them to life. Some qualifications that I have include: two consecutive years on class cabinet (BIS, BHS), nominated attendee of a leadership program in Boston, a hard working student and three-season athlete.
I want to be your Vice President, again. I'm looking forward to talking to you about what you want at BHS and working to make it happen. Vote Henry Mudd!
Hi Panthers, my name is Shane Philip, and I’m a freshman at Burlingame High School. I am currently the class coordinator, but I want to become Vice President next year! I am the middle child of three boys, and I enjoy reading, spending time with my friends, playing and watching sports, and helping others as much as I can. I am a straight A student at BHS, and I have plenty of leadership experience as I am in the leadership class. Outside of school, I play basketball, do karate, and am a Boy Scout. I am extremely involved with my community and often do service work with my troop or at the church. I show leadership qualities in all parts of my life and always give 100% in everything I do! Everybody deserves a place at this school, and my goal will be to ensure that the class cabinet and I, provide you and the rest of the student body with what they want and deserve. Go Panthers!

Hi Class of 2029! My name is Sadie Goldberg and I am running to be your Sophomore Class Treasurer. You probably remember seeing my name earlier this year, as I also ran for this position. I didn't end up winning the election, and while for many people that would discourage them from running again, I am willing to step up to the challenge a second time.
Being a treasurer requires a lot of work and dedication, which I'm willing to do. I am good with numbers and love math, making this role a perfect fit for me. I love connecting with new people, sharing my talents, and making your ideas come to life.
A big setback that I recently faced was tearing my ACL, which is extremely hard to work through, but it's also taught me how to be patient and come back even stronger. Before I tore it, I played competitive soccer, and soccer has taught me to keep fighting even when you want to quit, and how to make decisions fast when put under pressure. If elected, I will bring all these attributes onto the team.
Vote Sadie Goldberg for Class Treasurer!

Alexis Mah
Hi Class of 2029! My name is Alexis Mah, and I’m going to be a Sophomore during the 2026-2027 school year. I am excited to be running for Sophomore Class Secretary! I believe I'm an excellent candidate for this role, because I bring prior leadership experience as your Freshman Secretary. I already know how to stay on top of meetings, keep everyone updated, and remain organized. If you know anything about me, you know I love to play sports, specifically soccer and softball. Being a part of a team almost my whole life has taught me great communication and active listening skills, how to work with different people to get things done, and much more. While we had successful events this year, I still believe as a cabinet, we have more work to do to bring in more money so our future events can be bigger, like prom. If elected, I will ensure everyone's voice is heard and feels welcome here at BHS. Another goal of mine would be implementing more activities for school like spirit days, fundraisers, and a ton of other events. I am committed to making sure our sophomore year is unforgettable for everyone, and I'd love to have your support. Thank you, and remember, vote for Alexis Mah!
My name is Leila Mudd. I am running for class historian. I have been the class historian for this past freshman year, and I am running again for my sophomore year.
I hope I can have your vote.
I am an organized, friendly, kind, and inclusive person. I am passionate about this role because it is something that immediately stood out to me at the beginning of the year as a role that I would be really good at for our class, and I enjoyed it this year.
The job of class historian involves updating the social media accounts, taking photos and videos of all class events, keeping them well organized, and updating class bulletin boards. I love getting to know new people and have always enjoyed photography.
If I am elected, I plan to document as many sports events, programs, and activities as possible for my sophomore year. We should have videos and photos of not just the pep rallies and football games, but also the sports and extra BHS activities that the school offers.
I want to make this year as memorable as possible by documenting everything that we do. I hope you vote for me as class Historian.
