Hey Panthers! My name is Kagan Goldstein and I'm running for ASB President. My record of active involvement spans multiple years of leadership, water polo, swim team, and theater. As the current Communications Commission lead, I run the BHS Instagram account and the ASB email, informing everyone of everything happening on campus. I was the Panther mascot cheering on the field during rallies and football games last year. My goal as President is a mentally, physically, and emotionally healthy high school experience for all students. I want to ensure that every person has something to look forward to between exams and the stress of academics, through planning more innovative events including sports, rewards, and crafts, entertaining rallies involving more student interaction through games, competitions, and giveaways, implementing new programs like a Talent Show that encourage participation, and reimagining activities, such as spirit days, to uplift morale. My open-mindedness, creativity, approachability, charisma, and chronic online presence will ensure I am always available and ready to be YOUR ASB PRESIDENT!

Eva Mercer
Hi! My name is Eva Mercer, and I’m running for ASB Vice President. You may know me from delivering Rose Grams to your classroom, getting thrown in the air at halftime as a cheerleader at football games, leading your group at Breaking Down the Walls—or I may even be your Panther Pal! As a two-year Leadership student and current Class Cabinet member, I’ve loved being involved at BHS and helping create a school where everyone feels excited to be here.
I want to make sure next year is full of fun, energy, and ways for everyone to get involved, whether that means keeping traditions strong or bringing in new ideas that make BHS even better. If there’s something you want to see happen at school, I want to know! I’m ready to listen and do everything I can to make it happen. I love connecting with people, bringing ideas to life, and making school something to look forward to.
Hi, my name is Bruce Peters and I am excited to run for ASB Treasurer. With two years of experience in both the leadership elective and as the Class of 2027 Vice President, I’ve gained knowledge and honed the organizational skills needed to effectively manage the student body’s budget and make sure that every cent earned is accounted for and well used. My technical skills, especially in spreadsheet software, will allow me to keep clear, transparent records of the ASB budget and spending.
If elected, I plan to work with other cabinet members to not only manage funds but to plan more engaging and interactive activities to bring the student body together, using the ASB funds to create events where the average student doesn’t have to put in much effort or sacrifice much time to participate. I’m deeply committed to finding new ways to strengthen our school activities and to ensure that the ASB budget goes directly towards the betterment of the student body. So vote for me, Bruce Peters, for ASB Treasurer, and let’s make every penny count!
