Hi Panthers! My name is Ellora Horan and I am the Senior Class President. Having been a member of the 2026 class cabinet for three years, and the class president for two years, I have gained the experience and skills needed to make our Senior year as memorable as possible! I will work to create an inclusive and engaging environment, where everyone is welcome to share their input and get involved. I will also stay organized, in order to make sure that the events we plan run smoothly, and that the whole cabinet is able to complete our jobs to the best of our abilities. Hey Panthers! My name is Joelle Huysmans and I am your Senior Class Vice President. Throughout my time at Burlingame, I have grown to appreciate our school and value its strong sense of community. As vice president, I intend to preserve, and hopefully strengthen, Burlingame's spirit by organizing school-wide activities, fundraising for our class, and planning senior events. I am an excellent candidate for this position because of my leadership background as the Sophomore Class Secretary and Junior Vice President. In addition, I hope to use my attention to detail, organizational skills, and work ethic to guarantee the best high school experience for all. Hi! I’m Stella and I am the Senior Class Treasurer. Throughout my 3 years as Class Treasurer I have learned how to plan events/dances and maintain our class budget. I am committed to creating an eventful and memorable senior prom night, and I plan to focus on fundraising to ensure that we have adequate funds to put towards prom. Additionally, I understand the importance of senior activities such as senior sunrise, senior picnic, etc., and will work hard to make sure that they are as exciting and fun as possible. My name is Mika Haggarty and I am the Senior Class Secretary. I have served on the Class of 2026 Student Council for two years, collaborating closely with my fellow cabinet members to support and represent our class. As Secretary, I am committed to working hard and contributing my best efforts to make our senior year fun for everyone. As Secretary, I will take an active role in planning school events, organizing meetings, and creating fundraising efforts to benefit our class. I am the Class Cabinet Treasurer because I am committed to ensuring that our class funds are managed responsibly and used effectively to create the best experiences for our class. As a student-athlete balancing three school sports and club commitments, I have developed strong time management and organizational skills that will help me keep clear financial records and plan successful activities. My experience in journalism has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly and advocate for student needs, which will ensure transparency in budgeting decisions.  To better BHS, I would work to maximize our resources by organizing engaging and cost-effective activities, such as competitions or partnerships with local businesses, to increase student involvement. I also want to create more opportunities for student input on school activities, such as the Winter Formal, by implementing a financial update system through social media or class meetings. This would allow students to share their opinions on budgeting decisions, event planning, and any other ideas, ensuring that our class funds are used in ways that reflect what students truly want. I am a responsible, detail-oriented, and dedicated candidate who will ensure every dollar is used wisely to benefit our class. I will work hard to make sure our events are financially successful, memorable, and accessible to everyone.

I would be good for the role of historian because I have already been it for 2 years now so I am used to being in the role of historian and know how class cabinet works. I am also very responsible and do my best with the things that I need to do. I am very good at keeping people updated with the events that the class cabinet holds. I love being involved and doing what I can to improve the BHS community and the campus environment. My goal is to increase school spirit and hopefully better people's experiences and BHS.

Hey Panthers! My name is Kylie Min and I am your Junior Class Secretary. I have extensive involvement in leadership positions, including my role as secretary for this past year. My  goal as secretary is to provide an enjoyable experience for this class and to foster a community here at BHS. I will utilize my skills in communication and creativity to make sure every student feels represented and welcome on campus, as well as more chances to participate in fun activities. I believe that each student's ideas should be taken into account, and with this in mind, I guarantee to put student input into consideration at all times. Hi Panthers! My name is Elizabeth Carroll and I am your Junior Class Coordinator for the 2025-2026 school year. I have lots of experience in this position because I was the Sophomore Class Coordinator for the 2024-2025 school year. I am also currently in the BHS Leadership class which has furthered the important skills needed for this role. I am responsible, respectful, kind, and can communicate clearly. I also excel at planning and hosting fun activities for students to participate in and enjoy. In the fall, I helped organize a highly successful Club Fair with over 100 clubs taking part in it. In order to make BHS events more enjoyable for students, I believe that we need to listen to the student body's ideas when planning activities. For example, the theme for Winter Formal and fun class wide events. All in all, I will be the best Class Coordinator and with help make your junior year one to remember!

I have a lot of previous leadership experiences, one of the most valuable being my time as Freshman Class President where I learned how to plan different things, stay organized and collaborate with my peers to achieve our goals. Hi, I'm Elaina Newman, and I am the Sophomore Class Treasurer. Along with numerous previous leadership roles, I had the privilege to engage with and better our BHS community this past year as your Freshman Class Treasurer. From that experience, I learned the importance of collaborating with my peers and ensuring that everyone's ideas are heard. I found it extremely exciting to fundraise and plan ahead, in order to guarantee that the following years of our highschool careers will be filled with fun activities that bring us closer in a safe, respectful, and strong community. Identical to all of the members of my freshman cabinet, I am committed to building an environment at BHS that focuses on strengthening connections and our overall joy towards coming to school and participating in BHS activities and spirit events. I feel strongly about helping the climate, advocating for rights and creating safe spaces to do so, and providing everyone with the resources to always feel comfortable at school. Hello Class of 2028! My name is Collin Phonsombat and I am your current Sophomore Class Secretary! I believe that this year has been an overall success and that we have met many goals such as planning fundraisers like the Freshman Pizza My Heart fundraiser. Although we have traveled far this year as a class, I still think we have a lot of work to do as a cabinet to raise more money for future events and I would like to start by incorporating ideas from all students in our grade. As Secretary, my main goal would be to have everyone’s voices heard, and I would advocate for more open meetings and opportunities for our peers to share their ideas with the cabinet. I believe that this would better unite us as a class and would ultimately help us plan and organize more future events for our class to enjoy. I am willing to work hard to make our collective experience throughout next year as fun as possible, and I plan on making sure that our cabinets’ organized activities run smoothly. As your former Freshman Class Historian, I have experience in how things work within the cabinet and what to expect throughout the year. Not so long ago, I was able to successfully lead a Pizza My Heart fundraiser, helping to raise funds for our class that'll go towards important events such as prom. I’ve also been actively brainstorming new and exciting events to bring our class together and make our sophomore year even more unforgettable. With my dedication, creativity, and passion for bringing our school together and bettering our community, I’m eager to continue representing the class of 2028. Hi! My name is Shaifali Sinha and I am your class coordinator. I make a good class coordinator because I am hard working, efficient, and responsible. I will make sure your voice is heard by our student council. Some ideas for fun events in the next year include dances and socials, as well as competitions among grade levels. I am a good candidate for class coordinator because I am efficient, responsible and a hard worker. I work well in teams and I am a good communicator, which is the basis to be a good class coordinator. 

My name is Henry Mudd, many of you might know me from grade school, middle school, sports or maybe most importantly, because I was the 8th Grade Class President at BIS. You might remember that we didn’t have chocolate milk and wanted it back. As class president, I listened to the students and made it a mission to bring back chocolate milk. It was a lot of work. I met with the principal, met with the wellness committee, I met the school board, I met with parents, teachers, students. I organized a pilot program for chocolate milk. After a successful pilot I went back to the school board and it was approved indefinitely. I didn’t stop there and I also was part of the committee to change the lunch provider so we had better lunches. This summer I was nominated to attend a conference in Boston focused on qualities that are most important in leadership: communication, honesty and confidence. I have these traits. I want to use them to represent you. I'm looking forward to talking to you about what you want at BHS and working to make it happen!

My name is Jack Hamilton and just like the other Hamilton I would like to be our school's treasurer. I want to be in a leadership type role so I could rally this school together and get everyone to get along. To start off my freshman year I was very scared and had no idea what to expect. After my first day I had a reality check and was able to get over that anxiety. After day 1, I saw that something was missing from this school. I think to perfect this school and improve on its base,  we need to unite and accept. I want to help make a BHS where no matter what you do or what social group you are apart of whether you're an athlete, popular, nerd, unpopular, strong, weak, ect, whatever it might be I want us to be able to go down the hall and be proud of each other. I want everyone to feel accepted and respected. My plan is to raise money and send out polls so you guys can vote on what type of socials you would want. I want to see people come together and have fun. Make a BHS you want!

My name is Leila Mudd. Many of you may know me from middle school and our few weeks at BHS, but I am looking forward to getting to know all of you over the next few years. I am an organized, friendly, kind and inclusive person. I am passionate about this role because it is something that immediately stood out to me as a role that I would be really good at for our class. The job of class historian involves updating the social media accounts, taking photos and videos of all class events, keeping them well organized, and updating  class bulletin boards. I love getting to know new people and have always enjoyed photography. I will document as many sports events, programs and activities as possible. We should have videos and photos of not just the pep rallies and football games, but also the clubs and extra BHS activities that the school offers. I want to make this year as memorable as possible by documenting everything that we do. 

My name is Shane Philip, and I’m a freshman at Burlingame High School. I am the middle child of three boys. I enjoy reading, spending time with my friends, playing and watching sports, and helping others as much as I can. I just graduated from BIS and was in the leadership class there. During my stay at BIS, I got A’s and won the leadership and history award. Outside of school, I play basketball, do karate, and am a Boy Scout. I am involved with my community and often do service work with my troop or at the church known as OLA. Everybody deserves a place at this school, and my goal, will be to ensure that the class cabinet and I provide you and the rest of the student body with what they want and deserve. Thank you.
