Our Special Education teachers are case managers and teachers. They work with students and families to provide co-taught supports in classrooms and direct instruction in the classes below. We have a team of supportive staff to partner with your family!

Individual Goals (CORE classes)

These classes are designed to provide direct and explicit instruction based on the Essential Elements Standards.

Pre-Vocational Skills

This course is designed to provide explicit specially designed instruction aligned to the Essential Standards focuing on developing students' adaptive and functional skills for workplace success.

Interpersonal Skills

The areas of instruction for this course include peer relations, social skills, self-management, compliance skills, and self advocacy skills.

Strategies for Success

IEP team placement recommendation

This course is designed to provide specially designed instruction targeting IEP goals and specific learning strategies, study skills, time management, organization, and self-advocacy skills required for success in core content areas. This course is not designed to serve as a study hall. Skills are taught and applied with the goal of creating a self-monitoring student able to problem solve, analyze, and apply knowledge across the curriculum.
