Volleyball Team Announcement

First, I want to thank all of the athletes who attended tryouts this year. We had an incredible turnout with 122 participants! The energy, focus, and enthusiasm throughout tryouts were fantastic and truly a joy to be around.

We have so much talent in this group, which made the team selection process especially difficult. Please know that these decisions were not easy, and we appreciate the hard work and effort each athlete put into tryouts.

This year, we will have the following teams:

• A1, A2, and A3 – Competitive Teams

• A4 – Instructional Team

If you were not selected for one of our competitive teams, we highly recommend staying involved through our Instructional League, organized by Coach Gossick. The Instructional League provides a camp-style format that includes skill development, instruction, and game play. It is a great opportunity to continue developing your volleyball skills, gain experience, and prepare for future opportunities.

Congratulations to all of our athletes, and thank you again to everyone who came out and gave their best at tryouts!

Teams for 2026-27 Indian Hills Volleyball

Volleyball is a no cut sport but we do place students on different teams based on their current skills.  

• Athletes will need a white t-shirt that we can write a number on, good supportive court shoes, and athletic bottoms.  Knee pads and arm sleeves are optional. 

• We will meet in the Main Gym to check paperwork and assign tryout numbers that will be written on the shirts.  These numbers will need to be worn each day at tryouts. 

• There will be three Competitive Teams

• The rest of the teams will be in the instructional league.  It will have a camp style environment for the first half of season then we will divide up and play scrimmages and tournaments here at Indian Hills 

• Movement of players as the season progresses we may need to move players up or down depending of development and need
