I have been teaching in Shawnee Mission since 2005.  Prior to getting my Master's degree in Library Science, I was an elementary classroom teacher at Brookwood.  In 2013 I was lucky enough to find a library home at IHMS.

My husband, Matt, and I have two daughters: Lowell (8 years) and Vala (6 years).

We also have two dogs, one of which is a therapy dog.  Her name is Dewey...isn't that appropriate?
