Course Overview
Geography of our World is the study of the development of the Modern World, its political systems, citizenship, geography, culture and how people fulfill their economic needs. The course is divided up into 4 units to include: geography, culture, government and economics, and globalization.
Each week students will be given geography trivia questions to answer. Students will be given the first 5 minutes of class to work on these questions. Every Friday we will review the answers, if students get every answer correct they will be entered into win a piece of candy if their stick is picked!
Throughout the course students will be expected to participate in class discussions, complete projects, study for quizzes and tests, come prepared for class, and behave in a respectful manner towards both classmates and the teacher AT ALL TIMES!
